What we collect and why
Contact form. When you send a message we receive the name, email address, phone number and message you type. We use them only to answer your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to arrange a site survey. The message is delivered to our mailbox at info@newcosta.com and kept there while the enquiry is open. Nothing from the form is stored in a database on this site. Submissions that fail our spam checks are not delivered and their content is not kept.
Server logs. Like every website, our web server records the IP address, requested page, browser type and time of each visit. These logs are used to keep the site running and to block abuse, and are deleted automatically after two weeks.
Advertising measurement. If you accept cookies in the banner, Google Ads may set cookies so we can tell whether an advert led to an enquiry. No advertising cookies are set before you accept. Your choice is stored in your browser only; you can change it at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Who else sees it
- Proton AG hosts our mailbox, so contact messages are stored on Proton's servers in Switzerland.
- Google Ireland Ltd receives conversion data only if you accept advertising cookies.
- Cloudflare, Inc. may run a spam check on the contact form; it sees your IP address and browser details for that purpose.
- OVH hosts this website in the European Union.
We do not sell or share your details with anyone else.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email info@newcosta.com and we will reply within a month. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at aepd.es.
